While searching Pinterest for DIY tents I came across the perfect a-frame design from Ana-White.com. I also found an amazing loft bed design for my daughter's room. Be careful, that site is slightly addictive.
I slightly modified the instructions. Instead of 1x3 boards I used 1x2. They are only $1.07 at Home Depot! For the two tents I used 7 1x2x8 boards cut in half. This came out to 7 1x2x4 foot boards per tent. For the covers I used twin sheets. I also picked up two sets of battery-powered twinkle lights from Dollar Tree. The total cost for two tents came to less than $15!
