DIY Boutique Flip Flops and Bow Set

It is flip-flop weather! Can I get a hallelujah?? I love me some flippity flops, but so does my dachshund, so I don't like to spend a lot of money on new shoes. I think she finds that the more expensive ones taste better. I have been on a bow-making kick the last week or so (I'll be opening my own Etsy shop soon), so I decided to glam up my new sandals that I got at Michael's for a dollar.

I found some adorable ribbon on sale at Michael's and went to work.

Cover the strappy thingies with ribbon using a hot glue gun

Glue on coordinating bows

Yes...my toe nails are different colors.

I made a matching hair bow that doubles as a shirt clip. You can clip it to the collar of a plain black tee to  make a coordinating outfit.

Ignore my chipped table. This is why you never place a hot glue
gun directly on the table. Time to repaint...

This set cost 4 dollars to make: $1 for the shoes and $3 for the ribbon, and I still have enough ribbon left to make more shoes and bows.
