Ingredients:
Vanilla cake mix
cool whip
strawberry or raspberry glaze
coconut
Make you cake as usual in a cake pop maker or in your own oven.
When the cake ball is cool enough to handle roll it around in your fruit glaze.
Inject your glazed ball with cool whip and sprinkle with coconut.
Cover the cake balls and put them in the fridge for an hour. This is important, because they just don't taste right until they have been refrigerated.
How did yours turn out? Mine were messy and not very pretty, but oh boy were they tasty!

You're making me hungry, I'm sitting here trying to fight off a craving now I get to add this to it, LOL! :)
ReplyDelete@Vintage Precious: You could make this with angel food cake, which is low fat, and use fat free cool whip and regular strawberries. That would make it relatively healthy...
ReplyDeleteThis looks so yummy. I will be trying these for sure!. I saw your post on J&M's Eye Candy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! These look so tasty!
ReplyDeleteZinger Balls prepared at home are simply outrageous! A snack that has cake, cream filling, berries, and coconut, what isn’t there to like? It is quite marvelous to see your imagination in reproducing the snack. Just pour a glass of milk and have these stupendous morsels, everything is in place. You can also buy fresh milk online to make it easier for the next set of these!
