This is a fun and easy project that you can do alone or with your family. If you are like me and can't find any big pinecones outside you can find large pinecones at Michael's. Bonus: They smell like cinnamon!
I picked up a set of mini nativity ornaments from JoAnn's and painted them gold.
Before
After. Nativity bling!
Next, I painted the tips of the pinecone with gold glitter.
I glued the pinecone to the "snow" and hot glued pearls from a broken necklace to the pinecone.
The snow for this is just quilt batting glued to a piece of cardboard and sprinkled with white glitter.
Once the paint dried I hot glued the nativity people in front of the tree.
This project took my only a few hours (including letting the paint dry), and it looks and smells great on my corner shelf.
Linking up to THESE great link parties.
This is really unique and beautiful! Great job.
